Since we last spoke...

Greetings,

We've been a busy bunch dudes drinking lots of "wolf" juice as Wes describes it, and chopping lots of firewood. We've been playing locally non-stop putting ourselves out there as much as possible. We need to thank Fireball and Pats Pub for being amazing to us. As well as Dave Cotton and Seven Nines and Tens who have been great supporters from the very beginning.

Here's an update:
1. We're recording 3 songs with our good friend Matt Gauthier this weekend coming up. We don't know how we plan to release it. Either on vinyl or as a CD/SINGLE.

2. We will have merch. soon. We're very excited about this.

3. We're going on tour in August. We're touring Western Canada. Half the tour will be with our friends in Cold Craving from Calgary. Some of us met Cold Craving when they were in a band called Open Eyes Elysia [Torque Records] and we were in Jakartah [Torque Records]. We're also playing with them in June, so come check them out!

4. We're only playing one date in May and then focusing on a lot of shows in June & July. We need everyone's support to attend these shows, buy some merch. and a CD so it will help us raise money for tour. We better see you out there! Here are some pics from a recent show we played at The Railway Club taken by our friend Dayna. I hope it gives you an idea of whats in-store. "Bye for now.."

First bit of news.

Hey bloggers...

Thanks for checking this out y'all. We're going to be posting all kinds of crazy stuff up here that you would not or will not see on our myspace. Myspace is really hard to manage information and keep stuff in order. So we're going to minize that to a max.

I'm currently living with Kyle (drums) here in the west end. The seawall has been quite inspiring and there will be much songwriting taking place in this apartment while I wait for "the call" about "work". Wes is doing good hanging out with T.I. (his big orange tabby you see in many pictures) and Corey is still Corey...being the youngest band member the guy's just a wild animal to us.. he really does bring us back a few years. I know I try to keep up with the guy, HA!

Here are some shows coming up:

As any new band does - we're going to be playing around home and a lot for the next couple of months. We are also planning to record some music very soon. Within a month or so. We're thumb wrestling on the ideal candidate to capture the sounds.

For a month or so we filmed ourselves jamming and hanging to give people and idea of who we really are and made our own, DIY, EPK check it out:

Quickly about us:
My Mom's A Werewolf! , named after an 80's b movie. A few Vancouver bands have come together to create this labour of love. Jakartah (www.myspace.com/jakartah) and All State Champion (www.myspace.com/allstatechampion)...

I will be updating this, as other members will be too.
